Royal started his first woodworking shop in a hot Texas garage in the summer of 2012 with only a handful of tools and a desire to make beautiful things. He left Texas in 2014 for a decade long journey through architecture school, various design firms and a series of professional woodworking opportunities. Now at home again in the lone star state, he has found himself recapturing the excitement of building a woodworking practice from the ground up with a few more years of experience under his belt.
